Welcome to the Suffolk Libraries Career and Resource Exchange Website!  This website was designed to provide information and resources for Suffolk County librarians who wish to assist patrons with career questions and concerns.

The next CARE meeting will be on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Connetquot Public Library. The committee meeting will be at 2:30pm, the presentation starts at 3:30pm.

Our speaker will be Megan Corso, from Services for the UnderServed.  Megan will be speaking about the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, a housing stability program for homeless veterans.  The program provides temporary financial assistance to veterans who are at risk of becoming homeless.  To assist with the veterans’ stability, they provide employment services, assistance with benefits, and a variety of other services.
